ABOUT 'UCHI'URSULA CRUZALEGUI
Committed to Our Community
My name is Ursula Cruzalegui, most of you know me as Uchi. I am an independent that believes the government should work for the people, be efficient, provide the best quality of service and constantly look into ways to improve itself. That is what I've tried to do since I arrived in this community. I do it because I care about this place and the people that choose to make it their home. I serve—or have served—as a commissioner, advisor, member, partner, and volunteer for a variety of local entities and organizations in Clear Creek County.
As co-founder of Scraps-to-Soil, I've been at the center of piloting a compost program, building a community garden and creating the Pumpkin SMASH. To accomplish that I've learned to plan and implement programs and projects, develop budgets, and identify funding opportunities in a collaborative setting.
That is almost twenty years of proven experience in organizational development; event and project management; partnership coordination with governments, stakeholders, volunteers, and vendors and I'm ready to bring that same dedication to serving Clear Creek County as your next Clerk & Recorder.
